We believe in God “the Father of all, who is above all and through all, and in you all,” and in Jesus Christ “who is over all, the eternally blessed God,” and the Holy Spirt who according to the scripture is God.
We believe the Old and New Testaments to be the infallible Word of God; inerrant as originally given, verbally inspired by God and the “whole counsel of God “and “is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” and “which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
We believe that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” and that “God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” and “that He rose again the third day according to the Scripture.”
We believe that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners,” and that God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” and that God is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
We believe that God “has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."
We believe that “we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
We believe that “those who do not know God” and “those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ” “shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord", but that “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” Amen.
